This development involved the change of use from the existing Enterprise Centre to Student Accommodation at the ground, first, second, third, and fourth floor levels of Block C. It also involved the change of use of existing basement areas from Gymnasium use to Student Accommodation at Block C and below the existing east courtyard. The development included the demolition of the existing roof and the rear façade wall of Block C, with a new fifth floor and roof to provide additional student accommodation. Extensions were added to the rear of Block C at the ground through fourth-floor levels to further expand student living space.
In total, the project delivered 80 new student bedspaces and 2,511 sqm of ancillary communal amenity areas. Six existing basement car parking spaces were removed, and 94 bicycle parking spaces were added. All required internal, external, and façade alterations were carried out, along with necessary landscaping, site development works, and service installations.
Additionally, the fourth floor of the original office block (Building C) was removed and replaced with two new floors. A substantial portion of the rear façade was demolished and extended into the courtyard, while the east (front) façade was retained with new window installations. Within Blocks A and B, two 3-bedroom clusters were reconfigured to create a new 7-bedroom ensuite cluster.
